Late Summer into Early Fall can find us transitioning from shorts to sweater weather! Some days it can be hard to know just what to wear. Keeping your clothing within the same color story can help make your stylish seasonal transition easy and economical. It will save you time each morning when trying to "pull your look" together. You need layers. Starting your day is a sweater and ending in a tank top or stylish  tee is the go-to trick to Fall Fashion! Sweater with shorts, tank top with well fitting pants, you get the idea! Shorts. Yes, anyone can wear shorts...you just need the correct shorts for you! Afraid that your legs have not seen the light of day for so long that they glow-in-the-dark? First, sit on the floor and give your knees a hug. Be thankful for the legs you have. They have walked you through life so far, lets give them some love. Second, ummmm, when was the last time your legs had a date with a razor? Third, to take care of that "glowing" issue, let's make your skin really glow in a beautiful way! Start with a lovely tanning and moisturizing/firming lotion. I recommend Jergens Natural Glow. It is available from Amazon for about $10.  I have also been using Crepe Erase Body Firm cream. I. Am. Addicted. Shop for shorts at clothing stores that feature WOMEN"S clothing. Longer inseams and looser fit leg openings will keep you stylish. Ask a personal shopper for assistance. They are there to help!

Every year the Las Vegas Great Santa Run attract thousands of runners and walkers from around the world to downtown Las Vegas. This year as Ms. Senior Washington USA, I formed a Ms. Senior Pageant Queens Team! As a Team we planned to run, stroll and roll to raise funds for Opportunity Village. The virtual event begins on December 4TH and “runs” through December 26th. I participated virtually this year from Honolulu Hawaii. Mike and I had fun taking photos of special places on the island of Oahu while getting in enough steps to finish the race. I even had the opportunity to cheer for runners at the Honolulu Marathon!
Thank you to everyone who donated! With your overwhelming support we were able to surpass our goal of $1000. The Ms. Senior Pageant Queens Team came in second overall in fundraising. We were beat only by The Drunk Texans!  I also was awarded the second place individual fundraiser. Yup...I was beat by the Team Captain of The Drunk Texans. I won a $75 gift card to Performance Footwear and a one year supply of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers!
Why donate? Opportunity Village serves people in Southern Nevada with intellectual and related disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Opportunity Village helps develop job skills, obtain long-term work experience, learn marketable job skills, gain independence, and increase self-esteem while broadening their community and social interactions.
The Las Vegas Great Santa Run in one of the primary fundraisers of Opportunity Village, allowing them to serve over 3000 people! Charity Navigator has rated them at 100 % for Finance and Accountability.
Thank you for donating to the Ms. Senior Pageants Queens Team!
